Ta Le Duc Huy

Huy was previously a student from Le Hong Phong High School For the Gifted and made Singapore his next study destination. Currrently, he is majoring in Diploma of Biomedical Science at Ngee Ann Polytechnic which serves as a platform to pursue his dream to be a dentist or a doctor. 
Huy has involved in TOUCH since its conception in June, 2008. He believes that joining TOUCH could be a first step for him in discovering his high sense of enthusiasm in doing voluntary activities, developing leadership skills and contributing to the society. Huy enjoys chatting, hanging out with his friends and traveling.  “No tree can stand up against strong winds without deep roots and no building can withstand even a slight earth tremor without deep foundations. TOUCH has built a firm one making my dreams come true”, he said.

Nguyen Quynh Trang

Trang Nguyen participated in the exchange cultural program in California for 10 months. Now she is going to Richland College in Texas, USA.  She is the president of Richland LOTUS Club and a volunteer at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas. She wants to help as many people as they can. To Trang, being a programming member of TOUCH is a great chance to help younger students improve living skills and have real life experiences. Trang hopes staff members and participants have a great time at TOUCH Survival Camp 2010.

Phung Hoai Anh

Hoai Anh was a formal French-educated student since her Primary and Secondary school. However, she decided to open another door to her future by studying English and came to Singapore in 2007 for an English-educated system. She did well for the Ordinary Level examinations (aka O level) after finishing 2 years in High school and is now working hard to pursue her Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism management at Temasek Polytechnic Singapore. Her goal in life is to open her own hotel and lead it to its success in the future. She joined TOUCHVN in 2008 and since then, she has made a lot of friends and has also enjoyed herself through various activities. She loves to read books, listen to music and hang out with friends during her freetime.

Nguyen Bao Truong Anh

Truong Anh is currently a student of Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted. Her narrow life circle has expanded significantly since she took a chance to experience new glorious working opportunity with so many talented colleagues who consequently become not only her amazing good friends but also great instructive mentors. At the moment, she’s one of the three directors of VAClub HCMC and a TOUCHVN PR Officer, working hard for only one desire: making her life worth living.
Besides her heavy workload and boisterous life with lots of new up-coming tasks and challenges, Truong Anh enjoys her private life with oil paintings, cooking, classical music and making videos.

Pham Phong Phu

After graduating from Le Hong Phong High School for the gifted, Phong Phu heads to the United States and currently a student of Trinity University, Texas. He is following double major program in Business and Computer Science. He holds the post of Meeting Director/ Events Coordinator of International Club which serves about 300 international students on campus. Next year, he becomes a member of Student Programming Board cabinet of Trinity. 
Phong Phu joins TOUCH team 2010 as a PR Officer and so far falls in love with this unique experience., TOUCH makes everyday full of unexpected events and we share our stories , become some parts of each other ‘s day, though all the meetings are operated through Skype and emails are the only mean of communication. He believes that joining TOUCH Camp 2010 will make his summer more meaningful.
What is the best experience?- “ I never know that a meeting through Skype can last nearly 5 hours”, he said

IT

Le Van Hong Chan

Chan is an 19-year old chap who works as a freelancer in Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam. Having gone through an intensive-algorithm program in high school, he is now only interested in web technology and has since then, dabbled with Flash, PHP, JavaScript and web design. After his senior year, he decided to take a year off and work for Zoes Creative Studio as an IT Manager. However, with a great desire for technology, he longs to finish his science bachelor degree in Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (South Korea) for the next four coming years.

Although his majority is IT & Computer, he has a great interest in social activities. Getting passion from the SEALNet Project Vietnam 2008, Chan decided to join TOUCH team and work in Operation Commitee group in 2008. Now he continue to work with TOUCH on both Logistics and IT group. With TOUCH Camp, he wishes to spread the passion of volunteering which he got from SEALNet last year.

During his spare time, Chan loves to travel and get his hands dirty with the traditional Japanese paper folding art called Origami. Check him out on Facebook and Twitter.

Nguyen Minh Khoa

Nguyen Minh Khoa is a freshman of University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City. Employed as a designer for Distributor Team of Business Administration as well as Human Resource Information System (HRIS) designer for Bellclub - the largest English speaking club of his university and an IT manager for the contest: “Ban Linh Hoi Nhap”, this 19-year-old guy sure is a potential member of TOUCHVN as he is devoting to both IT and Logistic department of the organisation. Not only is Khoa expert in IT major, but he is also an avid enthusiast for hi-tech devices. He possesses a  good sense of humor, and completely strange, amazing way of thinking, which really surprises people. “Shoot for the moon, if you miss, you’ll be among the stars”, Khoa conceptualises, he is always giving his best shot and pursuing the better.

 

 

Hoang Minh Trung

Trung is now a student of High School for the Gifted who excels at computer science with several hornor achievements. His most memorial experience at TOUCHVN is having a chance to work with those amazing friends like bro Huy, sis Lan and other potential teammates. He always feels joy while working and loves challenging himself by involving creating videos to surprise and enetrtain other people. “For those of you who haven’t been a TOUCHIE before, let’s make it, right now,” he said excitedly. 

LOGISTIC

Phan Thi Thanh Phuong

Thanh Phuong – alumni of Le Hong Phong High school for the gifted, currently a student of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City – is a self-motivated girl. She cherishes many ambitions and works with all of her passionate enthusiasm. In 2008, she held the post of Delegate Officers of the VietAbroader Conference 2008: Passing of the Torch. From 2006 to 2009, she participated in many the Youth Committee’s activities, particularly Hoa Phuong Do Voluntary Campaign.  In the early of 2010, she was in the organizing team of Le Hong Phong High School’s Alumni Reunion (2010), which gathered over 800 students from 10 graduated classes. Organizing events innovating young leadership is her tremendous working desire. Consequently, TOUCH Logistic Officer is the best place for her summer to break out!

Le Dao Duy

Le Dao Duy is now a student at the faculty of Public Relations and Communications, which is a very creative and promising field in marketing, at Van Lang University. During his studies in Bui Thi Xuan high school and Van Lang university, Duy has learned how to communicate effectively with family, friends and other people; participated in many social activities and student clubs. At the moment, Duy puts all of his dedication to TOUCH – where he serves as a logistic officer, and 3N – a soft-skill club at Van Lang University. Whatever tasks he receives, he never negotiates for an easier alternative, and always makes great effort to complete those difficult tasks as soon as possible. Duy’s motto is “Life is not only for enjoyment but also for learning from everyone”, he strives his best to get a better life, a better relationship, and a better work in different circumstances.

Nguyen Uyen Phuong

Born in 1994 and currently a student of Tran Dai Nghia high school for the gifted, the name is Nguyen Uyen Phuong and she has just joined in TOUCH’s Organizing team this year. Friends once wondered how could she get involved despite the fact that she has gained no previous experiences at all, and she strongly believes it was because of her guts and enthusiasm that impressed that recruitment team. Her favorite quote which she learned from a friend of mine is: “Life is tough, but I’m (far) tougher”, it supports her through the hardest time when she had to handle the schedule at school, family-related and personal stuffs as well as TOUCH’s tasks. " Thanks to my beloved brothers and sisters from TOUCH, I passed that major hurdle and am doing well.", she shared.

Nguyen Thi Anh Dao

Dao Nguyen graduated from Le Hong Phong high school for the Gifted last year. Besides learning, she finds happiness in doing outdoor activities and community service, which brings her many friends and teaches her lots of valuable skills. Her favorite saying is “To live is to fight”. She thinks that people will get what they deserve if they keep moving forward despite all difficulties; therefore she always tries her best in doing everything to get the best result. 
She regrets not attending TOUCH Leadership Camp 2009, so she decides to be a part of Camp 2010. As a member of organizing team, she feels so great because she has chance to work with young but active, enthusiastic and professional people. Although she has participated in many camps before, she believes that TOUCH S.U.R.V.I.V.A.L Camp 2010 will be the best summer days ever with a lot of surprising and interesting experiences. Just wait, explore and enjoy it!!!

Pham Thanh Long

Born in 1991,Pham Thanh Long admitted that he is not being a normal guy and once joked: “I did not know how I could flow to Hollywood to become a famous actor, but then realized it was not an attractive job so I decided to be a student.” He is now a freshman of Open University. Though leading a school-life full of volunteer works, he still found it unsatisfying because of the university ‘s illiberal rules. His willingness to offer more youthful enthusiasm to the community urged him to do something really different and he was seeking for a chance to carry out that thought. Later, he ran into TOUCH. After being through many recruiting difficulties, he was honored to be a member of the Organizing team, preparing for TOUCH’s camp which will take place in Dong Nai this summer. If you have a chance to cast a look over his schedule, you might be overwhelmed at his work. Go fighting Jackie!
